At Mindful Messages Therapy, PLLC,  we respect your right to personal privacy and are committed to protecting it. This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for www.mindfulmessagestherapy.com. This notice applies solely to information collected by this website. Our clinical practice has additional privacy and confidentiality policies that are given to clients upon meeting with their therapist.

The website and its content is for general informational purposes only. It does not intend or constitute personal mental health advice, and it should not be used in place of direct contact with a health care or mental health care provider. We do not assume responsibility for the provider-patient relationship until the client has their first session with a therapist.

Collection of Information:

The information we collect on our website may include your email address, phone number (if you call us), and records of your correspondence to us (if you contact us). We may respond to your phone number or email address to answer the message we receive. We collect information from you when you fill out a form or enter information on our site.

Please note that no one under the age of 13 may provide any personal information to our website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We will delete any information from a child under 13 unless we have verification of parental consent. When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under 13, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The HIPAA compliant sites we use include (but are not limited to): Simple Practice (electronic health record and scheduling), IvyPay (payment), Google Voice (phone), and GSuite (email). All data collection for our practice (health records, credit card information, appointment information, and more) is entered by you directly into one of these sites’ secure systems. Our Privacy Policy link includes the word 'Privacy' and can be easily be found on the page specified above.

We honor do not track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place. We do not allow third-party behavioral tracking.
